Penn Construction Website Redesign
Role: UX/UI Designer & Video Editor • Team: Client + developer partner • Timeline: ~3 months • Tools: Figma
A residential and commercial construction company needed a website built around the clients it serves. I designed the full site over three months, working directly with the client and a developer. I defined requirements with the client, ran a heuristic analysis of their existing site, and recommended a new site map with an About Us page and clear calls to action throughout.
Visitors arrive with very different needs, so I organized the experience around who the company serves: clear paths for residential and commercial clients, a specialties section that explains services, and calls to action placed throughout to turn visits into inquiries. I built Figma prototypes, presented them to the client, and partnered with the developer to bring the design to life, including a construction management service.
The final site included:
a Who We Serve home page with separate paths for residential and commercial clients
specialties and services with calls to action throughout
commercial and residential project galleries of completed work
an About Us page with an edited company video
customer reviews and service areas to build trust and local relevance
This project strengthened my ability to turn client needs into a clear site structure, present design decisions to non-designers, and work closely with a developer to ship a real, live website.
